Interesting blend of Modern and Oriental
Decoration October 10th, 2009

Modern and oriental are not two opposing forces that were in line. Blending both may have never imagined. If successful, they are very catchy blend.
Most people feel less confident to try something new and unusual, the dressing room. And much creativity can produce attractive displays, when applied. Combines two different styles, in one room, for example. Some of us may be frowned when he heard this idea.
Not yet imagine the results, before trying. Often what we imagine very different from reality. Similarly, combining colors. Feel afraid of natural course. Well, to be more confident, looking for just a reference from the print media or the Internet.
Bedrooms in this picture, also can be one example. Domination of black and white, shows that this bedroom modern style. Added to design artwork on the wall, at the head of the bed. So it is with the game pattern symmetrical boxes on the walls. Nevertheless, oriental style feels quite heavy in this room.
Oriental style comes from two elements. The first is a wooden partition berlukis Japanese women kimono. Partition is not intended as limiting the room, in this room. But to cover up the plain walls look empty.
The second element is the two standing lamp beside the bed. At first glance, this lamp looks great. Look more closely, there is an ornament of shells and a red tassel, oriental style. Two of these styles look pretty, right? In addition, the bedroom was another appearance than others.
So, do not Sepelekan any ideas come to mind. It is precisely these things unusual, often provide interesting surprises. Good luck!
Home Decor Tip : Trick Harmonization 2 Contrast In Color Paint Walls House / Apartment / Office
Decoration September 9th, 2009
See examples below. I never said that the principle of composition in house paint color should flow (see tip 6 of the house paint colors for Lebaran), means that transitions from one color to another to show continuity.
But what if the combination of two very contrasting paint? For example red brick with white color? How to make a connection? Why should the contrast? Maybe because you want to surprise and create a tunnel effect in space (see tip 15). Follow the following trick.
1. Use furniture that contains two contrasting colors. A room with two red and white colors, will appear together when there is a red sofa with white cushions. Or vice versa.
2. Use a painting or framed paintings that have 2 the same dominant color with two-toned walls.
For example, there Annahape Studio. On one wall of the studio there are two paint colors: white and purple. Walls are painted so to create two different imaginary space. That is, I want to create two different spaces function without septum. The trick is to make two contrasting colors on one wall. See photos below.
On the white wall I put two canvas painting that I painted with the same color contrast: unggu and white. Look at the results: two colors contrasting paint that appears unified. Flow!
You can make this trick if you have one room with two functions. For example living room with dining room. Or dining room with kitchen.
Good luck.
